Ricci's Renneti To Run At Newmarket on Saturday

Rich Ricci has been speaking with Racing FX, the leading currency and payments provider to the racing and equine industry, ahead of this weekend's Dubai Future Champions Festival at Newmarket, where Renneti, owned by his wife Susannah, will run in the Betfred Cesarewitch (Heritage Handicap).

The six year old’s last race was at Leopardstown on 12th September this year, and his latest win came at Sligo, where he was ridden to victory by Ruby Walsh, who in recent years has had huge success wearing the famous pink and green silks of the Ricci family.

Ricci said that Renneti seems in very good form. While he's a quirky type, he goes there with a good each way chance and it's great to have Jamie Spencer on top. Amy Starkey and her team do a brilliant job and we're delighted to have our first of hopefully many runners at Newmarket"

Racing FX sponsored the Prelude Race Day at Market Rasen Racecourse two weekends ago, where Mr. Ricci was in attendance and was pleased to be involved in handing over prizes to the winning owners, trainers and jockeys: "My experience at Market Rasen was first class! It's a lovely racecourse where the Chairman, Collin 'Bud' Booth and his team do an excellent job. I'd like to thank Racing FX for their sponsorship of the day as well as their hospitality and hopefully we'll be able to bring a runner or two next year".

Ricci can't wait for the Irish National Hunt season to get into full swing, but has one eye focused further afield on the Melbourne Cup, where Max Dynamite will compete in the highlight of the Australian Racing Calendar. When asked about Max Dynamite, Ricci Said: "He seems to be in very good form, with everything going according to plan. He traveled well, he's working well and we're very happy with his progress. David Casey and the team in Australia are doing an excellent job with the preparation"
